🚗 By Car Driving is the most practical option. It takes about 5 minutes to reach Horta. Free parking is available both at the house and in the city.
🚕 By Taxi Taxis are available from Horta and the airport. You can book in advance or find taxis at the ferry terminal and airport. The average fare to Horta is around €7–€10.
🚌 By Bus There is a regional bus line connecting Praia do Almoxarife to Horta. However, service is limited, especially outside the summer season, so it’s best to check schedules in advance.
🚶♂️ On Foot or by Bike For the more adventurous, it’s possible to walk (about 45 minutes) or cycle to Horta. The road offers stunning views over the channel and Pico Mountain.
